Well…this is how it has been working for the past three weeks….. Monday, NO COFFEE…and feeling great! I sleep well and generally, I don’t feel any side effects! THEN, Tuesday arrives and I am sluggish and feeling like poop! That’s when I go for my coffee…. I simply can’t function at work with out it! The GOOD news is…. I have cut my coffee consumption from 3-4 coffee’s a day to 1! Yesssssss!
What also happened today was, someone asked if I had lost weight! Yippee!!!! This is really working! NO, this isn’t all about weight loss, this is really about eating healthier and making better decisions with my nutrition. BUT very happy to hear that naturally my body shape is shrinking a little!
Yesterday was a good day for walking! I have now decided that my 15 min morning break and my lunch break will involve walking! What a simple way to get all my steps in! I think I hit something like 21,000 steps yesterday!!!! Very happy!!!
I was also very proud of myself when I got home. MAN I CRAVE carbs! I love them, especially potato chips!
BUT I was super hungry when I got home, so I decided to make a smoked tofu (if you haven’t tried this stuff yet…it’s awesome!) wholewheat wrap with humous, guacamole, salsa and a little cheese! SO good and it kept me going for the rest of the night!
